To open a business account, you must first qualify for SUN Credit Union membership and establish an individual membership with a Primary Savings account.

Before opening a business account, the individual establishing the relationship must qualify for membership and open a Primary Savings account. This is a personal account that establishes your membership with SUN Credit Union.
Once your membership is established, we can help you open the appropriate account for your business or organization.

Protect your business from unexpected shortfalls with SUN Credit Union’s overdraft solutions. When life happens, we’ve got you covered.
Our standard overdraft protection links your checking account to your savings account. If your checking funds are not enough to cover your transaction, the funds are automatically transferred from your savings account for a nominal fee per transfer (Provided your savings account has the funds available).
When your checking account funds are not enough to cover a transaction, SUN Credit Union will pay the difference on your behalf for a per-transaction fee. Courtesy Pay is available to qualified accounts in good standing, 90 days after account opening.

Yes! SUN Credit Union offers business accounts to eligible members.
If you’re not already a SUN Credit Union member, the first step is determining your eligibility and establishing your individual membership with a Primary Savings account. Businesses affiliated with participating Chambers of Commerce may also provide a path to membership, including the Hollywood, Dania Beach, Davie-Cooper City and Miami Shores Chambers.

Yes. Business Checking and Escrow Checking have a $10 monthly service fee. The Business Checking monthly fee is waived for qualifying non-profit organizations that provide proof of non-profit status.
