More people qualify for SUN membership than you might think! Membership is open to employees of the City of Hollywood and Miami Shores Village; employees, members, and students of businesses and organizations affiliated with our participating Chambers of Commerce; real estate professionals in Broward and Miami-Dade counties; and immediate family members of existing SUN members.
Don’t fall into one of these categories? You may still qualify through a one-time $10 donation to the Police Athletic League (PAL).
Getting started is easy! To open your SUN membership, you’ll need a valid government-issued photo ID, your Social Security number, and proof of eligibility, if applicable. If the address on your ID doesn’t match your current address, additional proof of residency may be required.
You’ll also need an initial deposit to fund your membership savings account.
Joining SUN is easy and affordable! You’ll need just $10 to become a member — a $5 one-time membership fee and a $5 deposit into your Primary Savings account.
If you’re joining online, $20 is required upfront. If you qualify for membership without making a donation, the additional $10 is deposited into your account. If you’re joining through our donation eligibility option, that $10 goes toward your one-time donation to the Police Athletic League (PAL).
