Enjoy the basic features of our standard personal checking account for a small monthly service fee.
Our standard overdraft protection links your checking account to your savings account. If your checking funds are not enough to cover your transaction, the money is automatically transferred from your savings account, provided the funds are available, for a nominal fee per transfer. A maximum of six (6) transfers are allowed per month.
When you do not have sufficient funds to cover your transaction(s), SUN Credit Union will pay the difference on your behalf for a fee per transaction. There are no additional costs associated with Member Privilege - Overdraft Courtesy Pay. Member Privilege is activated on accounts in good standing, 90 days after account opening.
Note: If you do not have sufficient funds in your account and/or you decline Member Privilege, we will refuse the payment for your transaction. A per-transaction fee will be charged to your account, along with any additional fees assessed by the other party.
